Ford owner old, as in age , Farmer in Kentucky , Have 1987 F150 V/8 302 , and Lincoln 2000 signature Town Car Lincoln about 58,00 miles , F150 low miles just over 100,000.

Like some info on the F150, driving related problem , when run for about 2 to 3 miles it starts acting up as if it is out of fuel , there is a sensor on the side of the dist that was replaced about 1000 miles ago , it then jumped timing and timing chain was replaced , the fuel cap was replaced to eliminate vent problem .
To get back to the acting up problem , it starts to chug along and at the same time is trying to shift gears rapldly , as if out of fuel .
What are some of the possible fixes , ?????????? , fuel pump, ??????? , fuel filter , ???????? , clogged fuel lines , ???????? , air intake ,
Any suggestions or help is appreciated , as the local service station is a one man show and after other repairs does not seem like they are fully up to speed . Thanks , Replies on the board , and email is open.

Welcome to the forums. See if you can get any codes from it. There doesn't have to be a light to have codes. http://fordfuelinjection.com/index.php?p=13
