Just introducing myself
I'm brand new here and thought I'd introduce myself. I live in Ohio. I make stuff for a living, which I realize might sound rather vague, but it's hard to be more specific. Technically I'm probably what you'd call an artist, but I don't normally use that word to describe myself. But I make artistic sorts of things.
Anyway. I'm on my second F150. My first one was a 1996 with a straight six that I bought in 2000; really good truck. I drove it until just a couple of months ago.
My current truck I bought just a couple of weeks ago. It is a 1999 F150 XLT with a 4.6L Triton V8. I really like this truck. It's very clean, although it has very early stages of some issues that I'd like to nip in the bud; I think if I do, this truck has the potential to last a pretty long time still. So I'm here to ask questions and learn some stuff. I'm pretty mechanical, although I did not grow up around anyone doing mechanical stuff, so everything I know is stuff I've learned as an adult. And I'm still learning. This forum looks like a terrific place to learn.
