What's going on everyone? I just wanted to introduce myself. I'm 38, from GA, now live on Weiss Lake in AL. I'm happily married for 20 yrs, 3 kids, all boys- 23, 21, & 16, 2 grandchildren- granddaughter: 5 & grandson: 2. I've been in construction my whole life, actually helped in building house for 1st time at 12. I've been a fabricator/welder for 20+ yrs, and am currently learning the ancient art of black smithing. I have been in ministry as a Pastor for the past 5 yrs and am currently serving as Associate Pastor at a church from my home town. I bought my first car, a 71 VW Superbeetle, at the age of 13. It came with a How To Rubuild Your VW Beetle For The Complete Idiot book. I worked and got it running and have been working on my own cars ever since. I'm here on this forum because I just recently bought a 94 F150, 4x4 with a 351W from my father-n-law that he has owned since my wife and I have been together, 23 yrs. He was the 2nd owner and has taken great care of the truck. Even though I have been working on various types of cars for about 25 yrs or so, I am no mechanic. I can replace any part on a car, all the way to doing motor swaps and some motor rebuilds. However, with newer automobiles having the computers and all, I lack in some of the trouble shooting skills that are needed. I'm here to help all in anyway that I can. While at the same time, receiving help with my truck. I look forward to working with you all in alleviating as many of our F150 problems as we can!
