Introducing Fearlessfly
Hello Everyone,
I've just joined the forum and would like to take a moment to introduce myself. I'm a loyal F150 fan. In 2011, I sold my first F150 which was a 1993 XLT regular cab with a 5.8L V-8 gas engine. This was an excellent truck which I kept for 18 years without any major problems other than an intake manifold gasket which had to be replaced. It was burgundy in color and because various shades of red has a tendency to oxidize fairly quickly, I polished it with Color Back and was able to sell it for $5,000. I test drove the 2011 Silverado and Sierra 5.3L V-8's but decided to purchase a 2011 F150 XLT regular cab with the 5.0L V-8 gas engine with the 6 speed automatic transmission. It is midnight blue in color and is gorgeous. The chevy and GMC were cheaper due to the incentives at the time but they were not as nice as the F150. With the new technology, this F150 is the smoothest riding truck that i have ever owned. Therefore, I'm hooked on Fords and just found out that this forum exists. Consequently, I looked forward to communicating with all of you going forward!!
