Hello all. Just joined the forum and wanted to introduce myself. I haven't had a pick up since the 80s, but a couple months ago I traded in my 150k Mile BMW X5 4.8 for an off-lease 2016 F150 XLT Sport with a 5.0. The truck had been leased by the dealer's detailer, and was immaculate. In short order I installed two toned black / red seat covers to protect the interior from my K9 partner and added a CAI and a Tune. Last week I towed a 24 ft. boat from RI to Florida. Average cruise down was 70 mph, which returned an indicated 10 mpg. Trip back was at 80 mph, returning 19 mpg. No complaints here. Truck is my daily driver, with occasional towing duty; Motorcycles to track days, and boats wherever. Very impressed so far.
