Intro
Joined the forum because I’ve surfed it lots for help with my 1989 5.0 L 4x4 Custom (code for basic!).
I’ve been putting lots more time into it, lately, doing some repairs to the rear fenders (rusted), and finally finding a very long-running and increasing transmission leak. This forum helped me diagnose it: the 3 little leaky rubber caps on the topside of the tranny which I accessed through the floor.
I’m also planning on doing a power steering flush because it’s whining and I figure it needs ftesh atf in there. Can’t hurt anyway. So, it’s about time I joined up. Thx
