my 2018 xlt with 135K miles has had some starting issues lately. seem like it happens randomly in the PM @ 100 degree heat here in Texas
i'll turn the key, all dash, radio and electronics fire up, turn the key and nothing happens, turn key off then try again starts right up. had it checked at a shop, they couldn't find anything
any thoughts would help

Welcome to the forum. My first thought would be a battery connection problem. Try it with the door open so the interior light stays on & see if the light dims when you turn the key & nothing happens.
