I blew up my 2wd Ranger and just got this 4x4! I just had it totally serviced and now I'm going to run something over.

Yes I'm at Walmart. New shoes on, old in back awaiting snow tires.

Snow tires in North Carolina? Me thinks that might be as useful on a vehicle as a/c in North Alaska.

Har Har... I wish you were right. I'm at 3800 ft. in Boone a mile up a mountain. Here's my neighbor.

I heard Colorado Ski Resort was staying open till July.
Do the Snow Tires Help with the Rough Terrain?

There hasn't been snow in months. It's nice to have two sets of wheels so you can just switch them out depending on the season. When the snow on the road gets packed down by the tires it freezes into a sheet. I think the compound is too soft for using it like an A/T tire.
