Im back
Hello,
Signed up as a member in 2010 when I purchased my 2008 FX4 Super Crew truck. It had 25k miles on it and now has 125k miles and still going strong. (knock on wood)
Only major maintenance ever done to it is I changed the front brake calipers in 2012 and in the same year one of the IWE's was torn to shreds repaired by the dealership since it was still under warranty. I had an air conditioning problem the same year and it turned out to be the solid state control relay of the compressor cutting on and off which I troubleshot myself after 3 inconvenient trips to the stealership and watch them charge me 100 dollars a trip for "troubleshooting" fees.
Ever since then just oil, air filter, fuel filter and tire changes so I apologize for not logging back on every once and a while because I never saw the need to.
So now I see myself doing more work on the truck thus it will be handy to become a member again and to gather as much information I can before I do any work on the truck.
