I need every ones help!
I am starting an overdue project, I bought an 87 F-150 extended cab, long bed, lifted 3", with 33" mud terrains, no rust, no major dents, light brown in color. I bought it as a temp "farm hauler" but fell in love with it. Rather than buy a new truck, I am going to restore this one a little at a time. I need a complete steering column, and the lockouts are hollowed out, (no guts) I guess the "top hat" style is hard to find or expensive to convert??? I also have to put a new flywheel on by the end of the week. I have never worked on a 4wd before but never had anything with a motor I couldnt fix myself. I joined the forum because I know I will need help and advise along the way.
