Default Howdy from Texas

Just took ownership of a 2016 Lariat a couple of weeks ago. Really diggin' the truck. I came from 11 years of driving 2 Titans. The last being a 2008 with 180k miles on it. I was holding out for the new Titan XD's to hit the lots before making the new purchase. But, after a test drive and the $60k Nissan wanted, the conversion to Ford was decided. The Cummins diesel was surely nice on the Titan. But too many blah features and too many similarities to my 2008 LE model. No power fold mirrors, no blind spot monitor, etc. No way to justify that price tag and no discounts to boot.

So, I couldn't be happier with the decision. I never thought going from that V8 to this V6 would actually increase my power enjoyment. The 3.5L Ecoboost is amazing. Not to mention the mpg improvement on top of it.

I've already gone through many of the threads here and looking forward to many more.

Welcome to the forum and to the truck - very sharp looking. I've had my '14 with EB about 5 months now - not getting the mileage as most note, but that isn't a big deal to me - it's a truck - and I love the engine as well. There are some haters and on occasion there are a few that have problems, but overall with the number of them on the road it is pretty incredible.
