Howdy, 2 F150's -> 1100+hp ;-)
Greetings from Wilson, NC.
Born and Raised Chevrolet performance guy here, still love em but I somehow have gotten hooked on Fords and can't shake the bug, lol.
After several pretty high performance camaro's and corvettes, I picked up a Hennessey Supercharged 6.2 Gen1 Velociraptor. Modded it and enjoyed the heck out of it (pics in next post).
The boosted 6.2 was treating me so well I had to get the other SVT pickup that I had always loved, found an 04 DSG Lightning and have been a Ford guy since, lol.
Had fun turning wrenches on the Lightning but ended up selling it and picking up a fully loaded 16 Focus ST as a daily driver to keep miles off of the Raptor and although it wasn't nearly the fastest thing I've owned, it may have been the most enjoyable to drive. It was like a little go-cart that you could just floor, bang gears and carve corners - Now I was hooked on the ecoboost!
Loved the ecoboost so much that I sold the Velociraptor and picked up an 18 Raptor. Going from two boosted SVT pickups to two boosted Ford Performance vehicles in the driveway made my Chevy buddies start to question my loyalty but oh well.
Anyways, I'm here more so because of the the latest purchase that I'm enjoying even more than the lightning. Got rid of the ST and picked up an 18 RCSB 4wd F150 w/ a 5L. Pics in a few post down.
Specs for the latest toy: 2018 RCSB 4wd, 5L, Wilwood Big Brake Kit, 2.9L Whipple, ID1000 injectors, Kooks Long Tube Headers, Borla Catback, Raptor Steering Wheel, LED Headlights and fogs, Lariet LEDs, BedRug and BackFlip bed cover, and a few more things
Looking forward to sharing and stealing some ideas from you all as we enjoy these vehicles together, lol. The latest two F150's have actually surpassed my experience from the first time I had two highly modded F150's in the driveway.
