Found this forum while researching for an F150.
Thought I'd join and say hi.
I've had a 97 Ranger in the past, for 20+ yrs, and a 2011 Mustang for 9 yrs. Both were great, with minimal issues. I always wanted a Wrangler, so traded both towards a 2019 JUL. I'm ready to get back to better gas mileage, less noise, more performance and reliability.
Seems like the market is tough.
Hopefully, with help from knowledge of this forum, I'll find a good deal on the right truck.
I'm in no hurry. The Jeep is running fine, and should bring in decent trade value.
Any suggestions on great dealers in the DFW area are most appropriated.
Not too long after posting my intro here, I bought a new F150.
I've spent a couple of months researching on Auto Trader and browsing through the forums.
I found a truck that matched what I was looking for, at a decent price.
With the deal on my trade-in, I was basically able to use what I've paid for the past 2.5 years on my Jeep Wrangler as a down payment.
This allowed me to get into a truck that I normally wouldn't be able to afford.
I purchased, kind of on a whim, a 2021 F150 XLT FX4...a custom order that couldn't be completed by original purchaser at time of delivery.
I've only been able to drive it a few times since purchase. I feel like it's going to take a good while to become knowledgeable about all of it's features and get comfortable with it. It's definitely a different kind of drive down the road than the Wrangler or my old Mustang. I'm looking forward to many years, at least a decade, of captaining this beautiful beast.
