Question Howdy all

Hi, my names Nick and I live in Wisconsin, damn cold sometimes, but ya gotta love 💕 it or leave it...lol
had a couple of Rangers now I want to upgrade to the F150....Thinking about buying a 2007 with a 4.6 triton 🔱
how reliable is it and what would be the major issues I should be concerned about when purchasing this year and engine, btw it only has 100,100 miles on it
Any and all info would be much appreciated,
thanks,
Nick

Welcome to the site Nick! I owned an 08 with the 4.6 and loved it, I would have no concern with the milage as long as it was maintained. Best of luck.

Thanks,
I guess I’ll have to ask this person if he has any maintenance logs before I go look at it
best wishes
Nick

I sort of stumbled into my 2008 5.4 Triton and as much as I have heard about their problems it really gave me no trouble in the 10 years and 140,000 miles I drove it (I just traded it off today and it is still running smooth and quiet). Though if it has not been done yet I would suggest having the dealership replace the spark plugs. In engines built before 2008 the factory installed plugs are known to come out hard and sometimes will break and need to be removed with special extraction tools.
