Default Howdy

New to the group. I've gotten on a few times in the past to search issues I had with my '02 and now my '10. The '02 went to meet it's maker. A kid t-boned it in my drive and pushed into my house a few months ago. (see the pict)

I've a Leer shell that wasn't on it when it was hit, so one day I'll post that up on here to see if someone has a need. Until then it's hanging ceiling jewelry in my garage. The '10's a relatively new addition and is already keeping me busy. I've the dreaded chatty IWE and issue with either the drivers zoned mix door actuator not working or a fritzing control module. For the IWE I had thought I'd nailed it to a vacuum leak in the hose as everything else seemed to check out. I replaced that octopus, nope. No backup camera on it, that'll be an addition to make. I saw a pricey refurb kit that can use factory parts to make it like the truck came with it as I'd rather keep the oem head unit. Anyhow, I took this pict of it next to my father in-laws truck. It's like a Stomper or Tonka next to that Toyota.

Welcome to the forum. I installed a backup camera in my 05 & used a new tailgate handle that has the camera integral to the handle. I got the handle off E Bay & it works great with my aftermarket head unit.
