Been lurking on this site for a while. Got an 06 5.4 4x4 XLT with AC issues since i purchased the truck. Wife and I had our first child last month, and really need some help trying to get this fixed or i will have to purchase a new vehicle.

Hey, I posted something in the 04-08 general forum, but I think it's waiting mod approval. Long story short, I have been to 3 mechanics, each one has tried something different, but no real success.

A/C blows decent (43-47 at idle, but will get up to 72-77 at idle). Had the Fan Clutch replaced, High and Low Schrader valves replaced, and the system evacuated and recharged.

I also pulled apart the shrouds and cleaned the condenser and radiator, I was amazed at how much came out.

Just wanted to get some advice and not play parts roulette.
