Default Howdy!

New to the forum! Just bought a 1990 F150 XLT Lariat. She needs some work and I will be picking everyone's expertise on how to make her better. She's bone stock, short bed with a 302 and automatic.
I was told she has a bad valve in cylinder #3 and I may be looking for new cylinder heads to give her more HP. Don't need racing heads or anything too out there, just better than stock to make her purr. Any suggestions?!?!?

Thanks.

Welcome!

I'd grab some heads, and take them to a local machine shop, have everything done, polished, seats, ect. Then I'd look into a new cam to help open the valves a little more. I think that there would make you pretty happy... excited to see what you do with it.

Welcome to the site. Before you do the repairs be sure that they are necessary. Unless, of course, you fully believe the seller.
