Hi All,

Just signed up recently and saying hi. Don't yet have my truck (dealer says it's supposed to arrive on Monday).
Ordered the Lariat 500A in Ruby Red Metallic (2.7L 4x4). Already started my build before I even have the truck. Didn't like the chrome, so I had the dealer swap the bumpers for the colour match bumpers.
I also already have the Bakflip MX4 tonneau cover in my garage ready to go once I get the truck.

Looking forward to starting as I've already been perusing the forum looking at others and getting ideas.

Hello, just curious how you arrange a deal including bumper swaps at the dealership. Colored bumbers are normally not in stock !!! How come ? the dealer orders separate bumpers and have them painted for you ? How much for this ?

Actually I have contact with the owner of the dealership and I know that is willing to work with customers.
My wife wanted to have the front 40/20/40 so because of that it eliminated the choice of even being able to get colour match bumpers.
I reached out to the owner and told him it was the only thing that was bothering me about the truck.
He said he would look into it and get back to me.
A few days later he got back to me and said that he could use the chrome bumpers for in house repair work, so he would order me the primed bumpers and have them painted.
I just had to pay for the service crew to remove the old bumper and replace the new ones.

Welcome! Congrats on the truck.
I saw a 2018 Ruby Red 500A in Unionville when I was looking and it was intriguing but I wanted all the other crap that went with the 502A
