Default "Hi, I am new here" thread

Just bought a 2016 F150 Ecoboost XLT. Super crew, 4x4 and a few other options I never thought I would have in a vehicle. We had recently moved out to the country (closest Walmart is 45mins away) and my little Scion FRS just wasn't doing well. Pitted gravel drive ways and roads just made me grit my teeth while driving that car. Last truck I owned was a 2004 Dodge1500 that the engine went out of in 2008.

Anyways, we are really enjoying the space, the ride and overall usability. Very happy with the purchase. Already put some weathered mudguards on it since this picture. Little stuff I know, but fun to wrench a little.

Geez, sorry for spelling. I didn't proof read it before posting earlier lol. It doesn't look like a 2nd grader wrote it now.

Welcome to the F-150 forum! Glad to have you join us.

Have any fun performance modifications planned for the truck?

It's hard to live in the country and not have a truck

Yeah, at least the guys in the area aren't ragging on me now. When I first moved here, they looked at my FRS and were like, "does that have 4-wheel drive?" All friendly. At least I don't get funny looks now while driving in town, that look that felt like and shake of the head and, "What are you doing driving a car like that here? You're going to destroy it."
