Talking Hi everyone!

I came looking for gas mileage questions as I was getting 11 mph in my 4.6. and I am getting vibrations from the wheels at around 65 mph even though I had them balanced by a pro a couple of times. I found this forum informative on many issues. I was looking at any modifications that would help improve my ride and my gas mileage. I see a lot of awesome trucks and look forward to posting and gaining some information.

Welcome to the forum! If you want to increase your MPG here are a few ideas; aftermarker cold air intake (Brands: AIRAID, K&N, etc.), aftermarket throttle body spacer (Brands: AIRAID, etc.), aftermarket exhuast (Brands: Flowmaster, Bora, Magnaflow, etc.), and programmer (Brands; EDGE, SCT, etc.). There are many things that can help with gas mileage, those are just the most popular. I would say if you are wanting to see a significant differnece, for the good, I would invest in a programmer. It will help out the most. Although, I wouldn't stop with only a programmer. I went from 9 MPG to 12MPG with all of those items mentioned. Also, I huge role is the way you drive. I do my best to stay under 2000 RPM's, and coast as much as possible. I'm not a grandma driver, but I do go easy on my truck.

PS: Good luck!
