Default Hi from the desert!

Hey everyone!

I just bought my first Ford truck last weekend and thought it would come in handy to register here..
Had a few older trucks from chevy and a ram with the big 'ol V10 in the past and my current daily driver is a '02 mercedes e-class wagon diesel that averages 40 mpg - which is cut in half on the truck...
About me, originally from germany, moved to Alamogordo, NM in 2005, worked on jet engines since 2002 and am almost done with my BS in aeronautics degree.

To the truck: 2012 F150 Lariat, 5.0, 4x4, tow package, off road package and air-conditioned seats that made my rear end very happy after i drove my bike 500 miles to pick up the truck!!! I feel that i took a bit of a gamble with the truck because it already has 166000 miles (yep, no typo) on it but on the other hand i paid several grand below trade in value. Planning to change most fluids soon and add some light mods like a tonneau, maybe performance tweaks and so on...

Cheers!

Looks all neat and reliable lariat with that high mileage. Sounds a good deal, welcome to the board.
