Hello
I’m new to the forum and to truck ownership in general. I picked up a used 08 XLT and have been using it for my short daily commute and the occasional trip to home depot.
Love the F150 and am excited to use it to learn more about automotive repair and maintenance.
A little about me is in order I suppose.
I have no formal background in mechanical work, but am avidly interested in learning. Anything vehicle related I either picked up in the Army or by watching DIY stuff.
I’ve served overseas and have been a career soldier for the past two decades. Looking to move on in my professional life and view mechanical work as a decent hobby to test the waters with.
With that I’ll say I appreciate the opportunity to be here and learn from others’ experiences.
