Hello - my truck is a rock stock 03 F150 STX 4x2 4.2L V6 - 215K miles - still runs out nice and looks good (to me at least ;-)
live in jersey city NJ so this is a city truck - my work truck and daily driver - bought her new and no one else has hardly driven her. I am jealous that way.
she does everything I have ever asked her to do including the occasional heavy load. She has had an easy life and I drive her slow and steady for the most part. Sucks in the snow is about my only complaint but then again never bothered putting snow tires on. Just carry and good shovel and breaker bar. I do the simple stuff myself but more and more depend on having a good local mechanic for the inevitable little stuff that comes up. the only sort of major thing was my rear differential case rusted through from the vinyl part sticker wrapped around it and held in place by the leaf spring U bolt all these years and holding water and salt under it... argh.
