I just bought a new F150 in December and I decided to join this site. I have always been a Ford man as this is my fourth Ford vehicle. I found some interesting posts on carrier bearings which I have been researching. A few nights ago, I ran over a mattress on the highway at night and dragged it about a quarter mile. It finally fell out from under my truck, but a bunch of material got wrapped around the driveshaft and now my carrier bearing is out. I havn't even had it for 5 months and this already happened.
