Hello from Winston-Salem, NC
Hey everyone!
I'm new on the forum, my name's John and I'm hailing from good ol' Winston-Salem, NC.
I'm looking for a F150 around the area to fall in love with.
I am currently a college student at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, and my typical vehicle needs are for transporting scenery for theatrical productions, picking up materials (plywood, stick lumber, the list goes on) and of course, shuttling my friends around.
This in mind, I'm looking for a truck that could last me the next couple of years, (I graduate next year) but not in such good shape that I wouldn't want to use it as a work truck.
Definitely seeking an older F150, anywhere between '82 and '89, within a $3,000 range.
I also wouldn't mind if it needed some work, so long as it drives reliably as is. I am approaching senior year, and would love a car that I could turn into a bit of a restoration project.
Anyone have any ideas? I'd love to just talk about those years of trucks as well, seeing as they're some of the most beautiful trucks out there.
Thanks!
John
