Have found myself reading through forum posts on here over the years, but finally just signed up!
I have a black 2016 Ford F-150 Platinum SuperCrew FX4 3.5L EcoBoost. Bought it new in April 2016 in California, originally as a daily driver, for long road trips out west, to haul my ATVs around and going skiing in Tahoe. Then in mid-2018, with 30k miles on it, we hit the road as full-time RVers - the F-150 becoming the tow vehicle for our 25ft travel trailer, and being re-registered in Texas (picking up a "Texas Edition" badge along the way). Most recently, we settled down in Vermont last year where it has its 3rd set of plates - we're in Virginia this winter with the RV, but in a month or so we'll be returning to Vermont to beginning building a house, and our truck will be dealing with snow, hauling building supplies, and towing our 20ft equipment trailer. The versatility of this truck is what I love the most!
I like the stock look of the truck, but we've done a number of upgrades to it over the years - RCI Metalworks skid plates, tires, brakes, suspension, Rigid Industries fog & off-road lights, upfitter switches, tonneau cover, various FORScan mods and, today, D-ring hooks on the front.
Our truck rolled over 100k miles last week while we were on a 4,000 mile road trip from VA -> FL -> TX -> VT -> VA, and will be going in for its 100k mile service next week.
