Hello, I just bought this 86 F-150. It only has 165,000 miles and only needs a few things to get it up and going. This forum has helped ma alot cuz I dont have alot of experience with cars other than starters, belts, radiators, and thermostats. I really want to gain more knowledge thru the car lovers in these forums. All useful help will be greatly appreciated and needed.

 

Hello, I just bought a 86 F-150 V8 302. I have bypassed the fuel pump relay by using a piece of wire. At first I thought the main pump was bad but I put the wire in the socket where the relay goes and the main pump did work. My question is the fuel gage does not work but there is fuel in the tanks. Where should I start now that I know the main pump works?
