Hello From the U.P
Hey there, just bought my first Ford. This is not my first full size truck but, my nicest full size truck. I'm from the Upper peninsula of Michigan where 4 wheel drive is a must. haha I just recently owned a 97 Dodge Ram 1500 sport, and had it for a few years, but sold it to upgrade to a 2005 Ford F-150 super cab FX4 package, 5.4 L triton motor, with the shifter in the center console. Bought it with 86k on the truck. has dececnt tires that should last me 2 years or so. Power rear window, power moon/sunroof. Power windows and locks. Loving the truck more and more the more I drive it.
Just would like to know more info about this truck. I know about the spark plugs and those were just recently changed. The other day was very cold, and I noticed a whistle noise that went away when I lefted off the gas or sped up. Just wondering if anyone knows about that. Also I want to know more about the personal features of the stereo. it says 6 cd changer which I figured out but, it also says mp3. I have an I phone so is there anyway I can connect a aux cord to play music off my phone?
One more quick question, the shifter down in the center console, is that supposed to be lit up with the lights on? the (P R D 2 1) I noticed at night i cannot see that, just an inconvience.
