Hello everyone. My name is Doug, long time Ford man. I have had my 1997 F150 XLT 5.4 L since 1998, it has better than 375k miles on it (even though I kept in my garage 6 years when I had a company truck) . Great truck. Before this truck I had a 1981 F100 step-side with wood bed. Loved that truck. Anyway I hope to learn new ways to keep my truck going. After not shopping for a new/newer truck for 20+ years looking now gives me sticker shock. I'm too old (62) to but a new truck so like I said I need to keep my "baby" going. Thanks again.

Welcome Doug.
I drove my '95 for 21 years. Shortly before I retired a traded it for a '16 so I would have a new truck for retirement.
Sometimes I wish I had held on to it. Great truck.
I do so like the '16 though!
