Default Hello and thanks

My first introduction didn't post because I think I timed out (got called away), so I'm trying again. We live in the Atlanta area and own a 2000 regular cab XLT with a step side bed in Island Blue. We also have a 2014 Edge. Bought both new and have had very few repairs on either. I'm a retired mechanical engineer and big on preventive maintenance, so that helps no matter what you drive.

The truck has developed the intake coolant leak at the crossover / intake junction. Otherwise, it's in very good shape and runs just fine. Tomorrow, it heads to the shop for a new Ford intake, fuel pressure regulator, PCV, and EGR valve. As a long-time wrench turner, this is a milestone for me as it's one of the only times I've ever sent work to a shop. It's December, and I'm almost 72. Researched the job and decided I'm just too old to do it anymore. Point of all this is that reading here was quite helpful in learning what to do and what to replace - so thanks!! Hopefully I can contribute back to those here.
