Default Hello from Texas (Central Texas/Fort Hood area)
New owner of a 2018 F150 Lariat Super Crew 4x4 with 5.0L.

Glad to be part of this forum, and all the info this forum provides and shares.

Used to to be a truck was a truck, this new truck has a lot of technology I have to get caught up on. So many things that do things lol. Updates and changes...

Last Ford 4x4 I had was a 1995 Ford Bronco E.B. With the 5.8L, current vehicle I am using is a Jeep Wrangler. This new truck is a land yacht for me, still learning how park this beast in parallel stalls... as I name all my vehicles and the color I got was Lead Foot Gray, my new ride is “The Battleship”.

Look forward to learning a lot and being a part of the group/forum.

CavCop, funny that I just bought a 2018 F-150 Lariat, super crew, 5.0...wife's truck, and I drive a Wrangler as well. Plus, sounds like maybe your associated with Ft Hood based on your name. I was stationed at Bergstrom AFB in 1990 timeframe and played war games with Ft Hood on occasion.

In 1990 I was based at Fort Ord CA, spent most of my time in the Army as Infantry, but under a red and white Calvary guidon (1-5 Cav, 2-7 Cav, 1-124 Cav, 1st Cav Div. One deployment to Iraq we were attached to a few MP units and given MP armbands to blend in or something. Also was a police officer off base from Fort Hood. Figured my most of my working life was Cav and Cop...

I now work as a contractor on the West Fort Hood airfield for a Air Force/Military mission.

Congrats on the new truck! I also live in Central Tx. I've got 2018 Lariat Sport FX4. Oxford white though. Your right the amount of tech in these things is unreal. I went with the 3.5L EB.
