Default Hello from Texas

Had to replace my '07 F250 last week and found this '11 Limited. Certainly not new to the lowered truck scene and this one was already done. Has a good stance, Roush cat-back system and my SCT X4 went right on 6.2L. The truck rides great but I will be adding helper bags to the rear soon, may contact 5 Star for a tune as it still has some lag down low. Reading the forums trying to catch up...

Changed the oil yesterday and wiped at it last night since rain is due in here this weekend, but it needs a good deep cleaning and some Adams polish/wax.

Welcome from Corpus! Truck looks good. Definitely check with 5 star and MPT. I ran MPT on my 07 F-150 5.4L and they were wonderful.

Thanks! Not sure how much the truck is lowered but it does have a flip kit and shackles. I was under the truck yesterday at the lube place and couldn't locate any brand names, the rear shocks are silver in color.

I like the lowered look. I'm thinking about doing a 2" shackle drop instead of a front leveling kit and squeeze some 35s in there. I want the 'Ultimate Funhaver' look haha.

My previous ride was an '07 F250 CCSB 6.0 with a small 4" lift and 35" tires. Absolutely loved that truck and had spent thousands on the 6 liter bulletproof kit (sore subject...). Lost control in a bad flash flood rain storm Monday 1/2 and after spinning in circles several times, impacted the concrete divider head on and spun another time to crush the bed. 2 other cars lost control in the same spot and one was a side swipe with me and the other a head-on with me. Luckily all walked away with only aches! Although I loved the truck it sometimes was a pain lifting my butt up in it, and that's a small lift. Being lowered is so much easier. Lol. 35's are cool!
