Default Hello from SW Ohio

Hi all,

Been around the forums for ~2 weeks reading up on what to expect. Just purchased my first truck; 2022 Lariat 3.5L S-Crew 501A w/ max tow, 3.55 locking rear, FX4.

I was wondering if there are any recommendations for the second owner of a gen14 F150. I read somewhere about resetting the transmission profile so it could learn a new driver. Are there any other recommendations?

I have also had an Air Dam System Fault pop up and go away once on the highway and the DTC is not present at the moment.

Other than that I'll be putting on an oil separator in the next week or so after our trip to TN.

Thanks,
Brad

To update, Forscan has a built in procedure for clearing the 'learned' PCM tables. No more hard downshifts(4->3) and, with the limited driving since, appears to have better MPG.

Going to get the MAF and MAP sensors cleaned off and add the oil separator in a week or two.
