Default Hello From SW MO

Hello all!

We just bought a 1998 F-150 XLT 3dr 2WD 4.6L Automatic for our daughters 16th birthday (I get to use it when I need it). It is in pretty good condition but needed some stuff from the salvage yard we went and got yesterday. I'm working on it today and thought since I developed such good friends on my Focus site that it might be a good idea to join here when I need help. So I hope to help as much as I can when I can and look forward to making some friends!

Thank you! I appreciate that. I just got done replacing (with salvage yard parts) drivers front turn signal lens housing, drivers taillight, wiper blades, gas cap, speedometer light bulbs, shift link indicator, the shift column bushings, the gear shifter, the top dash and the dash piece around the speedometer, the radio bezel, console arm rest, the caps that cover the bolt for the door handle on the door panel, the marker lens on the passenger door panel.

I still have to put on a passenger side window motor, spare tire hoist, passenger side power mirror and a bug shield.

Anyone know where and how the jack goes in the truck? it is laying in the bed.

Welcome aboard!!......& Good Luck with your truck......
Been a while but I do believe the jack goes behind the seat???.....My supercab ...it was under rear seat/passenger side....
jack itself bolted to the floor....tools/handles went in a bag behind it.......
