I have a 2001 F150 Lariat 2wd 5.4L. I love it and hope I can keep it for many more years. I do all my own work on it (well, the backyard mechanic stuff anyway), plugs, oil, brakes, IAC, air filter, gas filter, and whatever I can do without special tools. I have thought about buying a new F150 but MAN they are $$$$$. And I have read really good things about the Ecoboost motor. But still, when it comes right down to it....Hey, my truck runs and runs good and has been paid for for 6 years. Why should I go into debt again for something that will do the same as mine? I love my truck and so does my dog !
