Hello from Round Rock, TX!!
I've been checking out this forum as a guest for a month or so now and decided it's about time to join in on the fun! I just bought this truck in April and haven't had too much time to do a lot to it other than fix some minor things that the PO either missed or messed up.
The tuck is an 01 SuperCab longbed XL 4X4 5.4 and of course work truck special (vinyl floors, manual windows and locks, no cruise, no tilt steering wheel blah blah blah) But hey, with a 3 year old hanging out in the back the floors are perfect! It has just over 280k miles and even though the guy before me used it as a work truck, and it shows, he took care of the mechanical side better than the cosmetic side. Had just replaced the catalytic converters, fuel pump, filter and O2 sensors right before I stole it from him for $2200! I'll get into some more details in a build thread later...
A little about me: my name is Matt and I live in Round Rock, TX. I have been working on cars since my dad and I restored a 1973 AMC Javelin when I was 15. Caught the bug earlier than that but who can ever really remember when it first started right? Currently I work as a Technician for an RV and camper dealership that specializes in truck campers and lightweight travel trailers. Don't really need to put my resume out there and this isn't a dating site so that's about it I guess.
Looking forward to everything I can learn or share with you guys!

Forgot to upload that pic the first time but it's the only one I have on my computer right now. I had to take those after my rear tire blew out, notice the effed up quarter panel? Tread completely separated from the tire and flew all over the place. Looked like when a semi blows a tire. I'll get some better pics up later.

Awesome. Hello to you from SC and GA. Welcome to the forum. You will love it. I have been to Round Rock area lots of times. I even considered moving to San Antonio. I love it there I used to go to Dell a lot.
