Hello from Richmond, VA
I am a data analyst in Richmond, VA. Just bought my 2019 3.5L 4x4 Screw with the max tow package and 302a. First truck I've owned in 15 years. We bought a small 18ft. camper last year and my old lifted Jeep Liberty just wasn't cutting it as a tow vehicle. Too many high revs with 32" tires on it and too much white knuckle driving while towing due to the small wheelbase. My new truck should pull our little camper as if it wasn't there. I will find out this weekend. Got the max tow package so I can pull bigger campers in the future.
My first vehicle was a hand me down 1979 F150 Supercab with a 3 speed manual on the column. A total farm truck. Moved on to a base 1990 Ranger that I had for 10 years. And I mean base. No radio, manual everything, and it didn't even have a passenger side mirror which was legal at the time. Retired the Ranger for a 2000 Explorer Sport Trac. I bought the first one that delivered to the dealer and spent the next several months being asked "What is that?" Loved it! Traded it in on an Infiniti G35 and spent several years regretting that decision.
I am so impressed by the refinement of today's F150. I'm really happy with my truck even though I've only had it for 2 weeks.
