Default Hello from the Northeast

Thanks for having me, found your forum while investigating problems with my 2008 150 XL. It's the ol' rough/ idle problem. I've just begun the troubleshooting today, and have found some useful information here. Pretty sure I can pin it down with your help.

Any fun performance mods planned for the truck? :-)

Glad to have you, any further symptoms or anything going on with the vehicle? We'd love to help you diagnose this issue and get your truck running tiptop.

Thanks, I really like this f150. Great shape and no problems in several years of ownership. Today I will pick up a Haynes manual to become more intimate with the truck. Are there other repair manuals that may help? With the rough idle, no engine code, I need to determine if problem is vct, coils or plugs. The 'w' digit in the vin id's it as 2v, if my investigation is correct.
