Default Hello, New member here

Hello. A few months ago I bought a new 2013 F150 STX that is in my profile picture. I've been lurking the forums since, trying to expand my knowledge of my truck.

Since I have had my truck I have only gotten my windows tinted 20% around. I also plan to install an audio system in the coming weeks and will post a build log when I get around to it. Later on down the road I plan on a Magnaflow exhaust, lifting or leveling and getting some bigger off-road tires.

Love the truck so far. The last car I had was a 2006 Malibu, so it is nice to have the utility of a truck. I can finally haul around stuff and get out to shooting spots in the boonies. Can't wait to finally have a vehicle I can go hunting in.

A few weeks ago someone hit my driver mirror (I think) while it was parked on the street. When I came back my mirror was missing. Just the reflective part, the housing was intact. Also the motor part was missing too, leaving the part that screws into the housing. I have no idea where the mirror went. I got a replacement thanks to the nice people at my dealership. However, now my driver mirror vibrates quite a bit while on the freeway or at higher speeds such as 60mph. If anyone knows of a fix or if I didn't snap it on correctly let me know please.

Thanks for the welcome. Yeah, I was reading up about the driver side mirror vibration and I guess it is common with replacements. I will still try and find a solution or do some tinkering with it though.

Welcome. It is a shame people do crap like that. (Damage others vehicles and keep going)
