Hello & Mod Suggestions
Hello. I am a new member to the forum but have been reading here for a long time. Very impressive content...Thank You to the administrators.
My warrantee is up, and I'm thinking about some performance modifications. I'm looking for suggestions.
What I have:
2004 F150 5.4 Lariat
Line X
40K miles
All Stock equipment
What I want:
Better mileage (if possible, currently getting 13.2mpg)
More power
Nicer sound from the engine (but not LOUD and obnoxious)
Nothing that will prevent me from driving this truck for 200K miles
Where I live:
Maine
Cold
Snowy
Rains a lot too
Summers too short but nice
What I do:
Mostly drive 15 miles to work and back.
Half stop and go, half freeway.
Wasn't happy to see I already burned thru rear pads and rotors and front pads at 39K.
