Hello from the midwest!
How's it going? I've been visiting this site just to read lately, today I decided to actually join the forums. A little about me, I've been in the south most of my life, born and raised in central Arkansas. I was in the military from 02-08 and meet my wife while stationed in South Dakota. This past December we moved back to South Dakota to be closer to her family. So I find myself in need of a 4x4 up here, and that's pretty much the just of why I'm here.
I've never owned a truck before, although most of my friends back home were into them. I've allways been into cars. As of right now I have an 04 RFM Cobra, my wife has an 09 Hyundia Santa Fe. I also have a 96 RR Mustang GT sitting in a storage lot back in Arkansas, and when I get a truck I'll be making a trip down to pick it up. My old DD when I lived down south, was an 03 DSG Mustang GT, and I just recently sold that to help pay for the move up here, and put towards an F150.
I'm wanting to get 97-03 F150. Only musts are that its 4x4, and obviously a V8. I would really like an fx4 supercrew, but we'll see how things go. I'm looking forward to learning a few things from you guys, as my knowledge of 4x4 tech is limited, but I know my way around most 4.6's and I know a decent amount about the 5.4. Anyway, I guess that's it for the intro, looking forward to talking with you guys, later on.
