Hello everyone. My name is Chad and I live right outside of Memphis, TN. This past Saturday I picked up my new (used) 2018 F150 Lariat FX4 5.0, in Race Red, from Red Taylor Ford in Corning, AR. This is my second Ford truck to own. I had a 2005 F150 FX4 single cab, but had to sell it when we had our daughter. Since then, I've been driving the wife's hand-me-downs and saving up my money. My new truck only had 13,429 miles on it and the guy who previously owned it took great care of it. The truck literally looks brand new. He also leveled it, put on some really nice BF All-Terrain tires, and tinted the windows. The only things I plan on adding is a bed-cover and new floor mats (I guess he took his with him when he traded this truck for his new one). Anyway, glad to be on the forum.

Nice truck. I've known David Taylor at Red Taylor Ford for maybe 40 years, and also knew his father very well. You chose to do business with first rate people.

I too lived in Memphis before transferring out of town in 1986. Still have a daughter, sister and niece/nephiew there.

 

Thanks! Yea, they were awesome to deal with. I'm not sure if it's because of COVID, the economy, or maybe the demand for trucks just not being there, but none of the Memphis dealerships had quality, used truck selections. That is why I started looking outside of Memphis, at smaller dealerships. The whole process at Red Taylor was awesome. They let me test drive the vehicle by myself (didn't even ask for my DL), didn't hound me to death or pressure me, and offered a fair, honest price. Plus, he held the truck for me without me having to put a down payment down. It was refreshing and an enjoyable experience. Would definitely buy from them again.
