Hi everyone, new member here from Maine. Just picked up my first F150 a couple weeks ago. She’s a 2022 Lariat in Space White. Just the little 2.7, this thing has double the power of the trucks I grew up with and more than handles my medium duty towing needs.
I was a very early reservation holder for the Lightning, I placed my reservation about 30 seconds after the site opened. I ended up canceling when I realized I’d be getting about 2 miles/kWh in one of those. I was an EV driver the past 4 years, but my life and needs changed, so I traded my Kia EV6 for the gas powered F150. I absolutely love it, no looking back!
It is my first F150 but not my first Ford. This truck shares a garage with my ‘65 F100. That one has a 406 from a ‘62 Galaxie coupled to a 4 speed top loader and a 9” trac lock posi rear.
