Default Hello from KC,MO

I just brought home a 2008 F150 XL V6 5 speed manual 2wd. It has 44k mi on it, and I really like it. I had a 1979 F350 4wd (farm truck) a long time ago, so I'm familiar with Ford trucks.

One question though. It does seem to run a little over the half way mark on the temp gauge. I did not have any kind of load on it. Is this normal? It was up around 95 here in KC today.

it is not normal, but not something that is a big deal if you treat it now. flush the radiator and check your fan clutch. welcome

arghhh ... I was looking at the wrong gauge. I was looking at the oil pressure gauge. The water temp is right at or just under half.

Thanks for the reply Chelios. Nice Woof! I've got a 8.5 yr old Yellow Lab. I hope she doesn't mind the hop up into the truck. I'll probably still look at those things before winter arrives.
