Default Hello from Iowa

Hello! The first F series Ford I drove was during the summer of 1967 when I was allowed to drive out to the pasture and check the cows with my Dad's 1948 F2 and I've been driving F series vehicles ever since. My current daily driver is the 1985 F150 4X2 in my avatar, it's powered by the 4.9 backed by a 4-speed, 30 years old and still dependable.

Thanks! It's not perfect but it serves me well. Here is a picture I took of it last winter after I plowed through some snowdrifts with it that were as deep as the hood of the truck. Just add some wood in the back and I can go where 4x4's do. One kid told me that I was embarrassing his 4x4 Chevy when he got stuck in a snowstorm and I plowed right through. He should have put a load of wood in that pretty pickup.
