I'm at schofield what dealer did you take it to? I just got mine back from cutter it took them 17 days to replace the tranny its the second time it went out on me. did they say what codes it was throwing if you take it to checker or napa they will plug it in and give you the codes

I took mine to cutter also. I haven't tried taking it to another shop. But I know how you feel about them keeping your truck. They kept mine for that long to rest the comp and to change out my motor on my drivers side chair and to put a piece of my door back on that fell off.
