Hey everyone, I have a 2016 2.7 Eco F150 FX4 XLT. I have always had problems with the vehicle usb ports not working even though they are illuminated. Now I'm trying to upgrade my Sync3 v1 to v2, and it will not acknowledge that there is a flashdrive in the usb port when I tell Siri "USB". My only computer is a chromebook so I have to use WiFi for the update, but I can't get it to manually update, and the screen says last check for updates was in 2003!!! Plus I can't get a strong signal from the router in my house. My iphone will charge in the usb port but thats it. It will not let me sync mobile apps, but it does sync with my music and phonebook. I did a master reset and it did not help. My screen also does the "dicktease" with the climate control button and screen pop up every once in awhile. Otherwise I love the truck. I previously had a 2003 F150 too. I have the extended warranty which will expire soon, and think I should add a catch can and upgrade my usb hub to support Carplay. I just hope my APIM is not shot. Thanks. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
