Default Hello Everybody!

Hi, my name is Robert I am in El Paso, TX. I just discovered this forum so I am very happy to be here. I own a 2006 F-150 King Ranch. It was present I gave myself when I graduated from college. I had always own crappy cars and beaters, so I figured that with my first job I was going to get a brand new and nice car. One of my friends from work convinced me to get a truck since he also owns an F-150 KR. It didn't take long before I was convinced. The F-150 has proven to be a real workhorse and a real value. too bad that as it happens with 8 cylinder vehicles, fuel efficiency is not one of its strong points. But it doesn't matter, because I LOVE my truck!

Welcome to the board, Robert.
Its not just the V8, but the 2 tons+ of weight that we are trying to move with it, that causes the sub-prime fuel efficiency. Don't forget to post some pics!
