Hello Everybody
My name is Jeff, and I'm the Director Mobile Electronics at Crutchfield I have been in the role of Car Audio merchant for five years here at Crutchfield. I am currently very involved in the Crutchfield labs (more info on that here: www.crutchfield.com/I-rF15c111/learn/crutchfield-labs-explained.html) and evaluating many products. I use my 2004 F-150 super crew as a mobile laboratory to listen to, and test new products.
I have been involved in this industry for over 20 years. I started out as a competitor in sound competitions and developed my love and passion for car audio into a rewarding career.
I live in Charlottesville Virginia, home of the University of Virginia as well as Monticello. I am married and have two boys aged 10 and 12 who I enjoy hanging out with in my spare time. We love mountain biking, playing Xbox, Watching football and fishing.
I've been a Ford guy for most of my life. Both of my grandfathers were farmers in Iowa and owned Ford F150s, and passed that love on to me.
My system is almost fully put back together for a while, until the next round of new head units or speakers and amps come out. I spent several months chronicling my install and tried to test each step of the process to gauge the amount of benefit derived from each step.

Once I get my feet wet in the forum, I want to show a couple of templates I made for some installs in my truck for all the other F-150 fans to use.
Let me know if you have any questions about upgrading the sound system in your truck.

As I grew up in Chicago, I mostly follow "Da Bears", I follow both teams a little bit, but really enjoy games in Blacksburg. The whole Enter sandman thing is really great.
