Hi all,
My username is 007fx2 but my name is Dennis. I live on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, part of the Delmarva peninsula. I love living so near the East Coast and the Chesapeake bay. I do a lot of boating and canoeing when weather permits and am working up for some long range boating excursions.
I purchased my 2007 F150 FX2 SCAB new and have put about 150k miles on it in the last 5 years. I fully expect to keep past 250k miles. I had the bed done with LineX when the truck was a couple of months old but that's it on mods.
I do some towing, both my boat and a trailer that I hauled sound equipment in (recently sold my sound reinforcement company). If I don't keep this truck a couple of more years it will only be because I would rather have an F250 4WD.
I've been through the split spark plug fiasco, replaced the AC unit and the passenger door electric window assembly. I'm on my 2nd set of brakes and 3rd set of tires. I run full synthetic lubes and change oil every 10k miles. Got my share of scratches and dings but the interior still looks great. Every time I get in my truck I'm reminded how much I love it! Best vehicle I ever owned!
I replaced a 1999 Ford Expedition with the F150 so I've been in the family for a while.
I was searching for help on putting 6x9 speakers in my truck and ran across a superb thread written by one of your own, OfficerMartinez. It's a good thread and if you missed it you can find it here:

I don't spend a huge amount of time going through message boards but I can see the value in these forums so I'm planning to stop by once in a while.
